National Stepfamily Day Celebrated with
Free Coaching!
"There are millions of people living in blended family situations who think they are alone in their experience. With one in three Americans living in stepfamilies, we wanted to do what we could to raise awareness about Stepfamily Day and to show them that they are not alone." Emily Bouchard, founder of Blended-Families.com
On September 16th, 2008, in honor of the eleventh annual Stepfamily Day, three leading experts in blended family and step parenting
issues answered the toughest questions our step parenting newsletter subscribers could throw at them.
Blended-Families.com presented Emily Bouchard, Yvonne Kelly and Sheena Berg and provided three different opportunities during that day for
stepparents to participate in live question and answer calls.
These Q&A sessions on National Stepfamily Day were a free preview of a new program being launched by the Blended-Families.com coaches -- the StepHero™ Q&A Coaching Sessions. Beginning October 2nd, 2008, blended family coaches will field questions every other week on live hour-long teleconference calls.

To make the most out of every Stepfamily Day, Bouchard recommends that aside from participating in Blended-Families.com's call-in teleseminar, try having a blended family focused potluck with some activities planned for the different age groups of children. According to Bouchard the goal is to spend the day connecting and being with others who are blending too. If the Stepfamily Day falls on a weekday Bouchard suggests waiting until the weekend if it is too stressful to plan something during the week.
